What we collect

Only what you give us. If you send an enquiry or an RFP, we hold the name, organization, role, email, phone number, and any file or message you attach. If you subscribe to Insights, we hold your email address.

To answer you, to scope the work, and to send the piece you asked for. Nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or trade contact information, and we do not run advertising audiences off it.

Guide downloads

To download a guide, we ask for your first and last name, work email, organization, role or title, and optionally your organization type, along with how you reached the page. We use these details to send you the guide and to understand who finds it useful. We email you updates only if you tick the box asking for them. We keep these details until you ask us to delete them. Analytics and advertising tags

With your permission, this site uses measurement tags from Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads), Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising and Clarity), LinkedIn (Insight Tag) and OpenAI (the ChatGPT ads measurement pixel). They tell us which pages are read, which campaigns and searches bring people here, and whether a visit led to an enquiry, a guide download, a subscription, an assessment or an advisor question. They may set cookies and collect your IP address, browser and device details, and how you move through the site, and these companies process that data under their own privacy terms. They may also be used to measure and show our ads to people who have visited the site. We never send them your name or the details of your enquiry. If you have accepted and you send an enquiry or download a guide, we share a hashed (SHA-256 scrambled) copy of your email address with Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and OpenAI, from your browser and, for OpenAI, from our server, so they can tell us whether an ad led to it. Hashing is not anonymous: these platforms compare it with the hashed addresses of their own account holders to make that match. Tracking is off by default: none of these tags run until you choose Accept, and they never run if you choose Decline.

How you reached us

Whether or not you accept, we note how you arrived for the current visit, such as a campaign link, an ad click reference, a search engine or a referring website, and save it with any enquiry or guide request you send. This stays on our own systems and is not shared with the advertising platforms. If you accept, we keep your first and most recent arrival details in your browser for up to 90 days, with a random visitor number that does not identify you, so a later enquiry can be linked to the first visit. The contact form also asks, optionally, how you heard about us.

06 · Privacy

AI Challenge Advisor

When you use the AI Challenge Advisor, we save the challenge and organization context you type and the lanes it recommends, to help us respond and to improve the service. Your text is also sent to an AI model to generate the answer. If you have accepted measurement, we save your arrival details and random visitor number with it. Please leave out confidential or personal details. We keep it until you ask us to delete it. Send requests to dani@alignedintelligenceconsulting.com.

Changing your choice

Your choice is saved in a cookie on this site for 12 months. To change it at any time, select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Choosing Decline stops the tags and any further sharing of hashed email addresses straight away, and removes the 90-day arrival record and visitor number from your browser. Where it lives

Enquiries and uploads are stored in our own database and private file storage. Uploaded RFPs are not publicly accessible. Access is limited to the people working on your enquiry.

Confidentiality

Anything you send during a scoping conversation is treated as confidential by default, before any agreement is signed. If your organization needs a signed non-disclosure agreement first, send it and we will sign it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what we hold, ask for a correction, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe from Insights. Write to dani@alignedintelligenceconsulting.com and a person will action it.

Canadian context

We operate under PIPEDA, and under Quebec's Law 25 where it applies to the organizations we work with. If your own obligations require additional handling terms, raise them early and we will work to them.
